Eid Al Adha Boosts UAE Economy Amid Rising Heat and Humidity

by admin477351

During the Eid Al Adha holiday period, the United Arab Emirates is set to experience a rise in temperatures, leading to hotter days and more humid nights, as indicated by forecasts from the National Center of Meteorology. As the region moves closer to summer, weather conditions are anticipated to be predominantly fair to partly cloudy throughout the holiday week.

Sunday may see a temporary dip in temperatures, accompanied by the potential for fog or mist in some of the western and coastal regions during nighttime and early morning hours. However, starting Monday, which marks the beginning of the Eid break for government workers, temperatures are expected to climb again.

Al Ain is forecast to experience temperatures soaring up to 43°C, while Fujairah might reach around 41°C during this festive period. The region could also witness light to moderate winds, with speeds occasionally peaking at 35 km/h. Meanwhile, humidity is predicted to rise during the night and early morning, especially in coastal areas, although sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are likely to remain calm.

This anticipated increase in temperature reflects the UAE’s gradual transition into the summer season, following a relatively mild spring. In recent weeks, several locations have already recorded temperatures exceeding 40°C, underscoring the change in climate as the official start of summer in the northern hemisphere approaches on June 21.
