MONTREAL — Jimmy John’s has officially crossed the border. The popular U.S. sandwich chain opened its first Canadian location at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, kicking off a major expansion across the country.
Twelve more stores are expected to open before the end of 2025, with Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Toronto among the cities set to welcome the brand’s famously fast and fresh sandwiches.
“We’re thrilled to bring Jimmy John’s to Canada,” said Peter Mammas, CEO of Foodtastic, the company leading the brand’s Canadian growth. “This is just the beginning.”
A grand opening event is scheduled for later this month to celebrate the launch.
