Netanyahu Reclaims the Narrative From Conspiracy Theorists and Iran With One Video

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the unusual step of posting a café-filmed video on X this week specifically to reclaim his narrative from both online conspiracy theorists and Iran’s military. The clip showed him ordering coffee and speaking directly to camera with humor, warmth, and military resolve. It quickly became one of the most shared and discussed political moments of the ongoing conflict.

Netanyahu used a Hebrew idiom to mock the death rumors, joking that the only dying he was engaged in was over coffee. He followed this with sincere and personal words of appreciation for Israelis, describing their extraordinary support as a real and tangible source of strength for him, the government, the IDF, and the Mossad. He praised their behavior throughout the crisis with evident emotion.

He addressed the viral AI conspiracy theory head-on, extending both hands toward the camera and counting his fingers clearly on screen. The conspiracy had been built around a press conference clip appearing to show him with six fingers. Netanyahu’s visual rebuttal was calm, deliberate, and effective, and it received extensive coverage in international media.

The Prime Minister confirmed that Israel was conducting significant operations in both Iran and Lebanon, speaking with confidence about their effectiveness while withholding sensitive tactical details. He urged all Israelis to follow civil defense instructions and remain near protected spaces at all times. His message was warm but carried genuine urgency.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard responded through state media with a formal pledge to pursue and kill Netanyahu. The declaration was framed as a military mission and delivered in hostile language. The official nature of the threat drew international condemnation and highlighted how high the personal stakes had become for Netanyahu in his role as Israel’s wartime leader.
