In a recent meeting held in Abu Dhabi, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions with Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of Fujairah. The talks underscored the UAE’s ongoing commitment to the welfare of its citizens and the nation’s developmental progress. Both leaders affirmed that the UAE’s strategic focus is centered on its people, who are vital to realizing the country’s long-term goals. They also offered prayers for the nation’s continued safety, prosperity, and advancement.
Accompanying Sheikh Hamad was Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah. The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials, including Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs. Also present was Sheikh Dr Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, alongside several ministers and government officials.
This meeting is part of the UAE leadership’s ongoing efforts to engage in regular consultations aimed at reviewing national priorities and enhancing cooperation among the emirates. The recent talks follow a visit by President Sheikh Mohamed to Fujairah in April, during which he and Sheikh Hamad toured Fujairah Port. During that visit, they examined ongoing development projects and operational enhancements at the port, which is a key maritime hub for the UAE. This continuous engagement illustrates the leadership’s commitment to fostering national unity and sustainable development across the emirates.
